The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and the Athina I. Martinou Foundation have made a significant grant to the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
In preparation for this year’s fire season and with the aim of ensuring the timely readiness of volunteer firefighters on the front lines of forest fire outbreaks, the two Foundations have made a substantial contribution to the Ministry.
The grant will fund the procurement of essential personal equipment to meet the increased clothing needs of the volunteer firefighters of the Fire Department.
