What does the Foundation support?
The Foundation awards grants exclusively for the support of actions and programs of nonprofit nature in Greece, which fall under the areas of the Foundation’s grantmaking scope. Eligible institutions are nonprofit organizations (associations, nonprofit civil partnership, foundations, Social Cooperative Enterprises, etc). The Foundation does not award grants to individuals (with the exception of the Scholarship Program, which is currently being designed).
When are grant requests accepted?
Grant requests are accepted throughout the year. Requests must be mature and ready to be implemented at the time of submission.
Is there a limit to the number of requests an organization may submit during a calendar year?
There is no limit to the number of applications an organization may submit. In case there is interest in reapplying, after a nonapproved application, applicants are encouraged to seek feedback.
Does the Foundation award grants to the same recipient more than once?
The Foundation may award more than one grant to the same recipient, but not simultaneously. In addition, reoccurring grants to the same recipient, for more than two consecutive periods, is avoided.
