The Greek office of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) was established in 1990 and provides medical and humanitarian assistance to asylum seekers and migrants.
The program is implemented by the Greek section of Doctors Without Borders, with the ultimate goal of empowering the patients supported by MSF in Greece and internationally through its operational programs, so they can independently advocate for the changes they have identified and wish to see.
The donation supports training in self-advocacy methodologies for individuals from vulnerable groups living in Greece, enabling them to act as multipliers—sharing the acquired knowledge and methodology with other communities. The training sessions will take place in various locations across the country. The number of direct beneficiaries of the program is estimated at 80–100 individuals.
